Groove Baby / On-Air Mixshow

Born in Los Angeles, raised in Boston. Groove Baby has been influenced from dance music back to her first Ultra CD mixed by Pete Tong in the early 2000’s. Her sound is influenced by the warm and vibrant grooves of the 90’s and 2000 dance classics blending the flows of diverse techno with soul, warmth, elegance and a touch of funk. Her formal understanding of DJing began in 2015 when GB auditioned for Tiesto and 7UP’s “Your Shot USA.” She was chosen as a Top 30 Contestant out of thousands who had journeyed to Hollywood for this opportunity to compete with DJs/Producers from across America for a slot at Ultra Miami 2016. During this period Groove Baby received lessons from Jono Fernandez, which sharpened her skills and put her in the mix for the winner. After returning from the West Coast, Groove Baby returned to working full-time, which provided avenues to purchase more music, equipment and an Ableton Certified music production program. Thankfully Boston provided various opportunities to play house and techno music. Now Groove Baby moved her homebase to South Florida, ditched the 9-5 life and is Djing & music producing Full-time.

Within the last few years Groove Baby has had the opportunity to play her first international booking in Matanzas, Cuba at Galaxia nightclub, out of state bookings including Elixir in Orlando, Therapy After-hours in Providence, Boat parties in Portsmouth, sold-out shows in Portland and to work with luxury brands such as Christian Louboutin, Burton, Clif Bar & more. Groove Baby has opened for various DJs in Boston’s biggest nightclubs such as Whiskey Saigon, and Cure Lounge and 603 Lounge in Portsmouth. Her unwavering love of all dance music is an inspiration for all and remains at the heart of every new venture she finds herself on.
