Sorry, there is nothing for the moment.

Jonathan Peters’ inherent passion for music and artistic expression propelled him into New York City’s dance club/nightlife scene. He reveled in the power that music had over to him and those around him.  Inspired by the emotional journey that a DJ could create with sound and determined to be a part of it, Peters schooled himself in the art of DJing.

While at New York City’s Café Iguana, the then seventeen-year-old Peters convinced the club owner to allow him to fill in for an absent DJ.  By the end of the night Peters was given the resident DJ position. Quickly establishing a solid reputation for himself, Jonathan held numerous residencies in New York City at Save the Robots, Nell’s, Mirage, Tattoo and Cafe Society. After Playing over 15 years in NYC Jonathan was asked to be the resident DJ at the Soundfactory following Frankie knuckles and Jr Vasquez. Jonathan was the Saturday Night resident DJ for 7 years packing 3000 fans per week and 7000 for special events.  After Soundfactory closed, Jonathan moved on to residencies at both Spirit NYC and Pacha NYC. JP is fixture in New York City nightlife. In 2006 Jonathan was voted the #1 DJ in America by DJ Times Magazine.

Peters founded Deeper Rekords which went on to become a highly influential and pioneering record label. After the success of the triple platinum remix of Whitney Houston’s “My Love Is Your Love” he secured his place as one of the most sought-after remixers by the major labels.  Peters remixed high profile artists such as Whitney Houston, Bob Marley, Donna Summer, Chaka Khan, Janet Jackson, Mary J Blige, Deborah Cox, DMX, Garth Brooks, Brain McKnight, Kelly Price, Rihanna, Mary J Blige, George Micheal, Montell Jorden, Christina Aguilera, Ricky Martin and many more producing club mixes played around the globe.

In 2020 Jonathan began a weekly livestream where he plays an 8+ hour set each week for his subscribers.  JP is currently playing monthly at Quantum Brooklyn and owns the Soundfactory brand, proudly carrying on its legacy.
