DJ O.A.M. Speaker Damage Radio

OAM is the artist name of Mario O., producer, musician, and Dj. Drawn to House Music at the age of 15, OAM has been a part of the culture since that time. Having released music under different artist names in the past, Mario says the “OAM” moniker feels right because, “it is derived from reversing my initials-I’m not using a name to be anyone else now. It’s simply me, and I think the music reflects that.”

When asked about dance music culture in general, he says, “I’ve always loved the sense of community, family, and inclusivity. At a rave, there’s always someone there to make sure you’ve got water, or to have a good time with. The music itself is about love and loving others. These are things I think the world needs more of right now.”

Since releasing his debut OAM track “Never Thought…” in 2018, he’s been hard at work playing around Los Angeles’ world class nightclubs, as well as festivals. He’s also been crafting his own tracks, and hosting his mixshow, “Speaker Damage Radio”, on Mixcloud and on Mix93fm.com.
